Our Safaris: How We Plan a Trip
We build bush-to-beach trips across nine countries in East and Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean, tailoring each itinerary to the traveller rather than working from a fixed set of packages. This page explains how we approach that process, from first enquiry to a finished itinerary.
Where We Operate
Our safari destinations are Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda for gorilla trekking, plus supporting content on South Africa and Botswana. Our beach destinations are Zanzibar, the Kenyan Coast, Seychelles, Mauritius, Mozambique and Madagascar. See our destinations overview for the full list.
Starting Point: What Kind of Trip
Every itinerary starts from a few basic questions — how much time you have, whether you're combining a safari with a beach, whether you're travelling as a couple, family or group, and what matters most to you, whether that's photography, walking safaris, gorilla trekking or simply a relaxed pace. See our experiences page for the different ways to structure a trip.
First-Time Travellers
If this is your first Africa trip, our first-time safari guide, destination-choosing guide and safari budgets page are the best starting points before you contact us — they cover the basic decisions most new travellers need to make first.
How We Work
We don't sell fixed packages. Every itinerary is built specifically around your dates, budget and interests, using the lodges, parks and guides we're confident in rather than a generic template. Once we understand what you're after, we put together a draft itinerary for you to review and adjust before anything is booked.
Ready to start planning? Contact our team and tell us what you're after — we'll take it from there.
